Travel Vaccinations
If you're planning to travel outside the UK, the surgery can help with travel advice and information about vaccines for travel.
- Telephone: 01883 625262
- Complete our online travel form
It’s important to book your initial appointment as early as possible - ideally at least 8 weeks before your travel date. All vaccinations should be given at least two weeks before you travel to ensure the vaccines have enough time to become effective.
Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
The NHS is only able to provide specific vaccinations to its NHS patients for travel. These include:
- Cholera
- Hepatitis A
- Typhoid
- Polio
